1 – Puri (Beach & Shree Jagannath temple) – Shree Jagannath temple is famous Hindu pilgrimage place. This temple built on 12th century. It’s part of the four sacred pilgrimage sites (Char Dham). Lord Jagannath worshipped here with brother ‘Balaram’ & sister ‘Shubhadra’. The most famous festival of Odisha called ‘Rath Yatra’ celebrate here.

Famous beaches of Odisha located in Puri. Puri beach known as ‘Golden beaches. Located on the shoreline of Bay of Bengal. Recently it awarded as a blue flag beach, indicating its cleanliness & facilities.

2 – Konark sun temple –

Konark Sun temple is a 13th century temple located in Puri district in the coastline. Located 35km away from Puri city. Its famous for stunning architectural design as a colossal stone chariot (Rath) for God sun. It’s a UNESCO World heritage site.

3 – Chilika Lake – Its Asia’s largest saltwater lake. Its home of dolphins, migratory birds. Also it has a vast brackish water body (mix of fresh & salt water).

4 – Satkosia Tiger Reserve – Its tiger as well as elephant reserve. Located mainly in Angul district in central Odisha & Mahanadi River gorge. Winter season is the best time to visit.

It offers rich biodiversity & habitat for Bengal tigers & freshwater crocodiles. It offers jungle safaris, boating, bird watching, & trekking. Its home of leopards, sloth bear, spotted dear, sambar, freshwater turtle. Satkosia nature camp available for overnight stay. Also stay along with Mahanadi river banks will offer a stunning 360 degree view of river gorge.

5 – Bhitarkanika National Park – Its known as ‘Mini Amazon’ due dense mangrove forest, complex waterways & wildlife. Massive population of saltwater crocodiles, diverse birds & Olive ridley turtles available for nature lover. It’s India’s second largest mangrove forest.
